Pa is a "natural tolter", as tolt is his gait of choice under saddle. It is fast and VERY smooth. However, he has a beautiful, easy trot when asked for it. He's smooth, fast, and so fun to ride. He's non-spooky, obedient and safe. Even though is has amazing stamina and plenty of speed at my fingertips, he is a piece of cake to slow down, stop and control. Just slightly squeeze your pinky and you have his full attention and give to the bit. He is my dream horse, and I couldn't feel more blessed. Pa is 23 years old, and other than his evaluation photo (tolt), these pictures are very current! Even after 6 years of no riding, my first time in the saddle his tolt was rock solid, even and smooth, and his endurance was impressive. He is still a very fertile boy, having impregnated mares this year on his first try. He has great bone in hs legs and a stocky build. His back is strong, his ribs well sprung and his loin wide... this boy is built to carry plenty of weight up the mountains.
