Drifa is a 13.1 hand, 9-year-old Cremello mare. She is one of the few daughters of first prize Dagur fra Mosfellsbae, owned by George Foreman (see picture above), who unfortunately perished in a fire (so horses like her aren't being produced anymore). She is a very excellent trail horse! She doesn't spook and seems to really enjoy being out on the trails. When Drifa tolts, the foxtrotters lope to keep up! Drifa has good endurance, strong hooves, is very friendly and outgoing, and extremely well gaited. She gaits very smoothly, even, and fast. She forms strong bonds with her rider and tries very hard. After a couple times around to get the excess energy out, she is great with beginning children (although it can be hard for them to get her to move!). I have a 6 year old niece that rides her fresh outside of the arena and loves it. Because of her color (double dilute), she is guaranteed to throw palominos, buckskins, and smoky blacks (depending on what color she is bred to). She has been bred to Sorli for a foal in June 2005.

Drifa is offerd for sale by her current owner at Fly 'N' Fur Ice Farm because she is choosing to cut down to only a couple hroses due to time constraints. Drifa will work in an arena, but doesn't particularily like it, as she thinks trail rides are much more fun. She is a dominant mare and won't paddock well with another dominant mare. She is a wonderful horse who deserves to go to a forever home as someone's riding buddy.
