Silfra fra Seigur was born in May 2004, my only filly from 2004 and very special. She is well gaited and very beautiful, she was my largest foal last year. She is registered as a Smokey black, but could potentially be a dark Buckskin. Either way, she definatly carries the dilute gene as she was guaranteed to get it from her cremello mother, Drifa. This means if she is bred in the future, she can have palomino, smokey black, and buckskin foals. She is very outgoing, curious, cuddly, confident, and sweet! She has an unusal love for people and being pet. In fact, if you crouch down next to her and start scratching, watch out becuase she'll actually collapse in your lap like a dog!! She is only for sale because of my decision to cut down on numbers. Excellent Bloodlines. This is the type of horse it's hard to get pictures of because she always wants to be right next to you! Her Dam is a 13.1-13.2 cremello mare out of Dagur fra Mosfellsbae, a VERY well gaited, high quality mare who is afraid of nothing and a wonderful trail horse. Her sire, Dagur, a silver dapple 13 hand boy out of Tyr fra Fitjamyri, is also a very intelligent, spook free horse who is great on the trails. Silfra already shows her parents confident, friendly and spook free temperament. Her pedigree includes Icelandic Greats such as Fengur fra Stokkseyri (8.03), Ljori fra Kirkubaei (8.23), Amor fra Keldudal (8.18), Flugar fra Strandarhofda (8.06), Dagur fra Mosfellsbae (8.01), Blakkur fra Reykjum (8.21), and Drottning fra Stykkisholmi (8.28).
