Sörli is a 5 year old black silver dapple stallion imported from Iceland. He is a large boy, just under
13.2 hands and well built. He has a perfectly even, fast tolt and a beautiful extended trot. He shows flying pace too. He is very naturally gaited. His temperment is trustworthy and relaxed, I had him here for 9 months and never once heard him do a 'stallion squeal'. He is extremely easy to work with (even easier
than some of my mares). In fact, I was able to begin his training bareback with a sidepull (no bit). This boy's temperment can't be beat.
Conformationally, he has a very nice, high set neck, high withers, long legs and beautiful thick
mane and tail. He also has consistantly thrown large offspring (13 hands at 1 year). He was bred at "The Old Man's" farm in
Iceland and remains a part of The Old Man's legacy. He is a grandson of Kjarval 1025 and is line bred on Rardur 618.
He stood here at Seigur Icelandics during the last 9 months and has recently returned home to Southspoon Icelandics in Arizona. While he was here, everyone that met him fell in love and commented on what a beauty he is. He is so easy to have around and lots of fun to ride. He is a reliable, spook free and very smooth riding trail horse with competition potential.
